Peter Agardy
Peter Agardy is a Melbourne barrister, nationally accredited mediator, and the author of three books on Australian commercial law.

Peter Agardy has practised at the Victorian Bar for more than thirty years. His main areas of expertise are insolvency, commercial disputes, banking and lending law, and equity and trusts. He is regularly briefed in matters across the Supreme and Federal Courts.
He is the author of three books. Risky Business (The Federation Press) is a practical guide to what happens to personal assets when business fails. The Loan Book (LexisNexis), now in its second edition, is a standard Australian reference on lending law. Trading Trusts Explained(LexisNexis, second edition) sets out the operation of trading trusts and their treatment in insolvency.
As a mediator, Peter is accredited under the Australian National Mediator Accreditation Scheme (NMAS) and has been appointed mediator in a wide range of commercial disputes.
